I did pretty well, but boy, did I miss my munchkin!
And we didn't really time things right on Saturday so I didn't get to see her until after the OSU game. I literally spent 24 hours without her.
I was so excited to see her even though she was sound asleep when we got home.
So I admit, it made my heart so happy when it became very clear on Sunday that she had missed me too! She would fuss if I put her down or left the room even if Devin was there with her. She NEVER does that and today, she has let me just cuddle her to death!
As happy as I am that Finley does so well without me, I just love knowing that she loves being with me as much as I love being with her!
I'm sure the next year will afford more nights away from her and I look forward to both of us being more independent, but how I enjoy every second that I get to spend with her.
