Total weight gain: +14

Feet: I can still see them!  I do have to turn my head just right though!

Stretch Marks: Not that I can tell.
Linea Negra: Not yet.
Maternity clothes: YES!
Food cravings: Nothing in particular.  I crave food and it depends on my mood what sounds good.
Labor Signs: Pressure.
Sleep: Pretty good.
Best Moment This Week: Finishing the bumper!  The bedding looks really good!  It is far from perfect, but I am happy with how it turned out.  Also, my doctor's appointment went perfectly!  Everything still looks good and on schedule.
Looking Forward To: Packing his hospital bag and putting final touches on your room.
My Prayer This Week:
Dear Lord,
Please bless my baby with wisdom and a strong, sound mind. Let him be healthy and whole (with 10 fingers and 10 toes, and no abnormalities). Help him to grow close to You and trust in You as Savior. Help him to become a righteous man who wants to serve You and serve others ahead of himself.
Lord, give me peace this week. It's getting closer and I'm just weeks away from delivering. Please take away any anxious feelings I may have, any fear or doubt and fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you Jesus for hearing and answering my prayers. Amen.

My Prayer This Week:
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You for my baby, and that I’ve made it this far in my pregnancy. Jesus, I pray that You will bless me with joy and gladness as I prepare for LbC’s birth. Help me remember what I’ve learned in past birth classes and what I’ve read. Help me remember the Scriptures that apply to this situation. Make your Word a living testament in my life and the life of my baby. Bless Devin, too, and help him to be the strong support that our family needs. For Finley, bless her with Your love, peace, security, and joy as these changes are about to occur. Help me get through these last weeks with a minimal amount of discomfort. Help me sleep through the night in peace. Strengthen me in preparation for the wonderful event of our baby's birth. Give me a quick and manageable delivery, and help this baby to be healthy and perfect in every way. In Jesus' wonderful name I pray. Amen.

One More Month

Dear LbC,
It's hard for me to call you LbC these days for you have a name and it's how I think of you, how I know you and in just a few short weeks, I will be calling you by that name while holding you tight to me!

I can't even believe that we are exactly one month from your due date!

It seems like only yesterday that I was taking a test and feeling complete shock when it revealed that I was indeed pregnant.  It had to be only yesterday that after taking the test, I immediately went to my knees in prayer on your behalf.  Only yesterday that in a fog I went to Bible Study and then rushed home to wrap a little early Father's Day present to reveal to your Daddy that you were in existence.  Only yesterday that I began realizing that your were real.

And now you are about to make your arrival... you could literally be here any day now and I am so thankful that we have made it this far together.  It is so nice to enjoy these last weeks of pregnancy knowing that you are almost fully ready to survive and thrive in the real world.  Now I can sit back and just anticipate what you'll be like...

Will you be as I picture?  Looking just like your Daddy with a dark mop of hair on your head, perfect lips, and the most beautiful eyes.  Or will you look more like me or even Finley when she was a newborn?  I can hardly wait to see!

How amazing it is to know that you were created by God just for us and that you will be perfect in every way.  And it is His image that I most hope to see in you!

I love you and can't wait to meet you!
Your Mommy

Ready for Baby? Continued

I think Devin and I might be more ready than we realized as we both were "stickered" this past week.  Well, I say I was, but Finley was actually stickering baby brother!  Too cute!  And yes, she is completely obsessed with stickers these days! =)

What a good dad!

I took this on my iphone last week when Finley wasn't feeling well.  We had a total jammer day and laid on the couch together in our jammies.  It was heavenly.

I also finally captured Finley hand feeding the dog.

It's so fun to think a couple of years in the future when I have two kids running around together.  I wonder if LbC will be obsessed with stickers and pester Finley with them.  Who knows?  I'm just so excited to see what their relationship will be and to know that God has designed our family to consist of a daughter and a son.  I am so thankful that He has entrusted them to me and Devin and pray that we will bring Him glory through our parenting.  I truly want to make their childhood enjoyable and to fully enjoy it myself which is why stickers found throughout our house only make me smile and don't annoy me the way they probably should!  I just love seeing Finley take happiness in such small things and find it to be an example to myself as well!
