How far along: 30 weeks
Size of baby: head of cabbage (3 pounds, 15.7 inches long)
What is going on with baby: his eyesight is continuing to improve and the amniotic fluid will start decreasing as he gets larger.
Total weight gain: +13   Only one pound, but at least I gained from last week!
Wedding Rings: Both still fit
Feet: I can still see them!
Belly Button: Half in/ half out
Stretch Marks: Not that I can tell.
Linea Negra: Not yet.
Maternity clothes: YES!
Food cravings: Soup!  I love soup though so I don’t think this has anything to do with pregnancy.
Labor Signs: Pressure
Sleep: Needing lots of it! =)
Best Moment This Week: I think we might have a full name for LbC now!  Devin picked out a middle name and it’s one that I had on the first name list so I obviously liked it already!  I’m pretty amazed that we might have a name at 30 weeks!!!!!
Buying LbC Christmas presents and imagining what our little man is going to be like!
Looking Forward To: Finishing the walls in his room and moving furniture in!
My Prayer This Week:
Dear Lord,
I praise You for the hard times that stretch my endurance, because I know it's producing good character and working out patience in me. Help me apply Hebrews 12:1 where it says, "let us run with patience the race that is set before us." I know that applies spiritually, but right now, it also applies to waiting out the time before my baby comes.
I pray that you will help me manifest patience in our home, so my child will grow up with a good role model. Give my baby a patient spirit, and may he be slow to anger and quick to praise.
And Lord, please continue to help my baby grow strong in every way. And help me take the time to be healthy by exercising.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
