I finally got Evi's birth announcements done! It took almost 6 weeks to get her newborn pictures back from our photographer so it wasn't entirely my fault that they didn't go out until she was a full two months old!!!!
I loved how the printing company was able to take my basic rectangular files....
and die cut it into a cute shape.
I really like how they turned out and love officially announcing our beautiful girl!

Finley's Dance Recitals 2011-2012
Finley had her first BIG dance recital in May and it was so sweet to see her up on that stage in her cute little costume! She is just the cutest thing ever! I love watching her perform and seeing her personality on so many different levels.
Her ballet dance is to How Beautiful which Beth sang in our wedding so it was really fun that her first dance was to a song that has so much meaning to us! I love that she sings the words... she just loves music so much and I can tell that it really "speaks" to her even at this age! =) Her tap dance is hysterical! Even though she is the youngest in her class, I think she was one of the best performers of this dance. You can tell she just loves jumping in and jumping out. HA!
I also never posted the video from her Christmas recital so I'm posting it as well. It's fun to see how she has improved throughout the year!!!! I'm so excited to see if her love of dance continues and if recitals are going to be a continual part of our future!

Our Six Year Anniversary!
Six years ago, I married my amazing husband!!!! I love that despite how different our life looks now compared to six years ago that we are still a team. We are still in love. We still enjoy spending time together. We still want the same things in life.
In college, I was a psychology major and took a class on marriage. After taking it, I vowed to not have kids the first five years of marriage because I didn't want to add any stress to my marriage in those beginning years. HA! Well, God had a much different plan and here we are with 3 beautiful children on our sixth anniversary... three kids in a matter of four years probably wouldn't have been the prescribed course of my psychology course either, but I'm sure glad that it has turned out this way.
Being parents of young children does change things and though we have managed to take a trip to celebrate our anniversary every year, this year we decided that leaving them wasn't the best option for us. Though we may take an overnight trip sometime soon, I can safely say that just having a child-free dinner for our anniversary was enough! Celebrating our love and spending time together has evolved as we have become parents and just stealing those little minutes here and there are just as special as days alone.
I am so thankful in the midst of a world where marriages come and go that I am in one that is becoming stronger each and every year.
