Little Baby C {LbC} Pregnancy: Inch by Inch from 4 to 40 {weeks}
Trimester: 2
How far along: 25 weeks
Size of baby: A rutabaga (1.5 pounds and 13.5 inches long)
What is going on with baby: gaining body fat and getting hair!
Total weight gain: +8
Maternity clothes: I'm definitely looking more pregnant, but am still mostly in regular clothes since I am still loving dresses and tights. I can wear most of my regular jeans, but some of my tops are too short now so I'm wearing a few maternity ones that fit tighter.
Gender: It's a boy!
Movement: As of yet, he hasn't had the hiccups which is funny since Finley had them a lot in the womb!
Food cravings: Between parties, Devin's birthday, etc. I have been eating pretty much anything in sight!
Symptoms: I still feel pretty good!
Sleep: A little heartburn at night sometimes makes it hard for me to sleep, but most nights are good. The dreams have gotten better too!
Best Moment This Week: Celebrating Devin's birthday and ordering the crib bedding!
Looking Forward To: Getting the nursery completely set up, finding a name, Thanksgiving, etc.
My Prayer This Week:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for creating each of us as unique individuals, including our own unique fingerprints. I pray for my baby's hands and fingers. Lord, help him to use his hands only for good and never for harm. Help him to be kind and gentle. Help him to use whatever talents You may give him, whether it's music, writing, sports or whatever to be a blessing to others and to You.
As it says in the Psalms, may my baby praise You with his hands by lifting them to You during times of worship. And Lord, I claim Deuteronomy 2:7 that says, "The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands."
Lord, I also pray for Finley. Help her and LbC to get along with one another and grow up to be close friends. I pray they will look out for each other and use their hands only for good.
