LbC: Week 21

Little Baby C {LbC} Pregnancy: Inch by Inch from 4 to 40 {weeks}
Trimester: 2
How far along: 21 weeks
Size of baby: A carrot (3/4 of a pound and 10.5 inches long)
What is going on with baby: practicing kicks and punches, genitals are developing, and eyebrows and eyelids have developed!
Total weight gain: +5
Maternity clothes: Nope!
Gender: It's a boy!
Movement: He’s a mover at night, but still seems more calm than I remember Finley being… His movements aren’t quite as jarring as hers were! =)
Food cravings: soup and anything spicy!
Symptoms: Still a bit tired, but am feeling good so far!
Sleep: Still not sleeping as well as I’d like, but that’s okay!
Best Moment This Week: Meeting LbC’s newest best friend, Ryan, who was born this week!
Looking Forward To: Working on the nursery! I think I've decided on bedding, but we'll see!  I was planning to make it, but then I found something I loved that was reasonably priced and Devin assured me that LbC wouldn't be in counseling in 20 years because I made Finley's crib bedding and not his!
My Prayer for This Week:

Dear Lord, I pray for my baby's bones that are developing this week so they can produce life-giving blood cells. I ask You for bone marrow that is 100 percent healthy. I ask for the correct amount of red and white blood cells and platelets.

Lord, You promised to hear and answer our prayers. I claim the promise in Psalm 105:8 that says, "He forever remembers His covenant, the promise He ordained for a thousand generations." You don't forget Your promises, and I thank You for that. You can do all things. You are the Creator of life. My hope is not dependent on myself or other people; You are my Source of strength.

Lord, please give me the strength to eat healthy and to workout. I know that anything I do will benefit my unborn baby. Everything I eat, drink and breathe goes into my baby, so please bless me with endurance and the strength to make the best choices.
And Lord, I pray that my baby will be happy. Give him or her a heart filled with the joy of being alive. May my child find gladness in everyday things like the sun, a puppy, a kitten, a book and a friend. Give us many happy times together.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

It's {ALMOST} Party Time!

I am so behind on posting about LbC, but I have been taking pictures and am hoping to catch up next week.  BUT this week, I have been in PARTY mode because Finley's Tiny Two Birthday Party is TOMORROW!!!!!  I absolutely love planning parties and this one has been so much fun!  I have loved all of it and can't wait to celebrate my precious little girl.

I was really excited to plan her party a full week ahead of her actual birthday so that Birthday Week could happen without the added stress of party planning.  Of course, I always seem to pick the worst weekend for my family.  Last year, Uncle West was in Florida and even though he tried to change his flight in order to be here, he wasn't able to.  This year, Aunt Beth and Uncle Kenny are in Phoenix.  Beth cried when she told me!  I almost cried to.  Fortunately, we had already planned to spend Finley's real birthday with Aunt Beth and Uncle Kenny so even though they can't be here, they will still be celebrating with her!

Here is Finley's Birthday Invitation...  I loved how it turned out and I printed it on metallic paper so it has a bit of drama in person.  I did want to make it smaller to fit the Tiny Two theme, but I didn't have a lot of print options after I made it so I went with a 3.5 X 5.  I can't wait to see how the party comes together tomorrow!

I want to cry looking at this!  How can my sweet pea be turning 2?????  I love her so much I can't stand it!
