2 Things I Love About You:  (Of course, there are a lot more than 2, but this is in honor of being 2 so that's all I'm going to list!)
  • Your laugh-- it warms my heart in a way that melts it each and every time
  • Your spunk-- you are a perfect blend of sweet with a bit of ornery mixed in
2 Things I Will Miss About You Being 1:
  • Keeping track of your age in months... I used to think this was weird before I became a mom and now I totally get it and will miss it!
  • Your dependence on me... though I am happy to see you succeed with each new step into independence, I will no doubt miss your desire to have my help... it is nice to be needed, but I know you'll still need me... just in new ways!
2 Things You Love Right Now:
  • MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC-- everything else is a distant second
  • Your Binkies that are about to go "Bye, Bye"
2 Things You Do that I Love Right Now Are:

2 Things I Hope Never Change About You:
  • The look on your face when you say Jesus is the sweetest, most precious expression you have!  I can sense your love for Him even at this age and I hope it only grows.
  • How well you sleep!!!!!!!  You are such an amazing sleeper!
2 of My Favorite Memories From This Year:
  • I will never forget you telling me "Love You" for the first time... You were headed upstairs with Daddy to go to bed and I said "I love you, sweetie" and you said "Love You" and I teared up!  I had been waiting for 22 months to hear those words!
  • Your Christmas program at school... when they wheeled your class into the auditorium in the huge stroller, you immediately found me and Daddy!  I loved how you were so focused on us and how you hated that you couldn't get to us.  I KNOW it won't always be this way so this is a memory I will always treasure!!!!

Best Moment This Week: Celebrating Finley's birthday party and knowing that LbC's "birth"day will be here before we know it!
Looking Forward To: Picking out a name!  We have started a list!
My Prayer This Week:
Dear Lord,

Thank You for this week. The time is getting near and I will soon get to see my newborn baby. I am so excited. Lord, help me to read Your Word to my baby, for I know that it is like honey in his mouth. I pray for health and happiness for my child. There is no greater joy for a mother than to see her children walking in the way of the Lord, as it says in 3 John 4.
Give my child true happiness, not through wealth and riches, but from knowing You as his personal Savior. Help me teach my child to read and memorize your Word and to have a hunger for the Word of Life.
Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful baby growing inside of me.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

The Tiny Two Birthday Party in Pictures

The Birthday Girl

The Tiny Two Decor

The Tiny Picture Display-- This was by far my favorite element even though I had planned for it to take up the whole mirror behind the Sweets Table and it didn't.  I just love seeing how her face has changed this past year!  I am also glad that I made the time to go back through the hundreds and hundreds of pictures I've taken this year and find almost 100 of my favorite! =)

Finley's "Boyfriend" Giving Her a Rose

Devin made the cake again this year and ALL the tiny cupcakes!  He did a great job!  We weren't sure how we were going to decorate Finley's little cake, but a couple of nights before the party, I saw a cake with pink coconut on it and thought it was so cute so I dyed some coconut pink and Devin added it.  We both loved it, but Finley wasn't a fan of the coconut.  Personally, we thought the coconut made the cake! It tasted so good with it on there!

The Tiny Two Sweets-- tiny popcorn balls, tiny 2 cookies, tiny caramel apples, tiny cream puffs, tiny cheesecakes, tiny cupcakes, and tiny ice cream treats.  YUMMY!

Tiny Two Real Food-- Tiny Corndogs, Tiny Grilled Cheese, Tiny Chicken Nuggets, Tiny Hamburgers, Tiny Peanut Butter & Jelly, Tiny Beef Tacos, and Tiny BBQ Chicken Sandwiches.

Tiny Two Drinks-- Tiny Water Bottles, Tiny Juice Boxes, Tiny Cokes

Tiny Two Tiny Friends-- Allison, Grace, Liberty, Emory, Charlie, Jesse, Adam, Nathan, Hunter, Claire, Sophia, and Josiah (I didn't get any pictures of Finley's Tiny Two Adult Friends!  Too bad!)

The Presents... that were anything, BUT tiny!  I'm always blow away by how generous everyone is!

The Tiny Two Lovebirds hugging goodbye!  I have never seen Finley hug someone her own age, but when Josiah went to give her a hug, she TOTALLY leaned in to hug back!  SO SWEET!
