All About Finley

Finley is five months old today and therefore, it is time for another All About Finley!  One of our books said that babies need a fourth trimester before they are really enjoyable because by the fourth month most issues such as sleep and eating have worked themselves out.  Though Finley has been a super happy baby from the start, I admit that this last month has been particularly wonderful.

She weighs around 11 pounds 7 ounces and is 23.5 inches long.  She is still around the 3 percentile in both height and weight.

The hair on her bald spot is starting to grow back!!!!  The hair right above her forehead; however, has disappeared.

She thinks sneezing is absolutely hysterical. She breaks out into a huge grin whenever she sneezes and sometimes even when I sneeze.

She has moved to a four hour schedule-- two hours awake, two hours asleep.  And she can hold the small bottles by herself!

She can scoot herself backwards.

She is beginning to truly laugh... a full chuckle.  Her neck seems to be especially ticklish.

She loves toys now... this Baby Einstein Bendy Ball being her favorite.

I have officially moved her into size 1 diapers even though they are still quite big.

She is wearing 0-3 month clothes pretty much exclusively now.

Her eyes are still blue!

She is babbling all the time now.

She loves my voice and breaks out in a huge grin when she hears it.... this of course, sends me even deeper in love with her!

She can roll from her back to her side and if she really wanted to, I think she could roll herself completely over.

She is still addicted to her swaddle blanket and white noise for napping.

If I thought she kicked a lot before, it is nothing compared to what she is doing now.

She likes playing with her bibs when they are around her neck.

She is constantly playing with her hands.

She can almost get the pacifier back in her mouth on her own....  She usually gets it in backwards, but every once and awhile, she gets it in perfectly.

She loves being read to or when we talk to her about what we're doing.

This picture doesn't lie... she is loving bath time!

She is becoming more of a social butterfly... not really wanting to fall asleep when there is excitement around her.

She is really close to grabbing her feet and holding on to them.  I absolutely cannot wait for her to suck her toes!

She looks like a little doll... at least that is what most people tell me when we are out and about and who am I to argue!?!

She grunts when she is bored.... it is NOT very lady-like! =)

When she is really sleepy, she grabs at her hair.  I can just picture her winding her little finger in it when she is older... and has more hair.

She has just started making a gargling sound and thinks it is really funny whenDaddy makes it back.  This video only shows her making noise... I have to get one with Devin responding.

She still loves standing up and has this look that says "I'm so proud of myself" when she does!

She can transfer objects back and forth between both of her hands.

And....
She is truly the most wonderful, beautiful baby ever and I love her more than I can sta
nd!
