Is this not the cutest picture ever?
If it looked good in color (which it DOESN'T!), you would see that not only do both of our shoes have a big bow on them, but they are also both silver.
And just in case you were wondering, no, this was not planned!
These were the only dress shoes that I found to fit Finley.
Size 0-6 weeks in case you were wondering.
These were the only dress shoes I had that coordinated and could possibly jazz up my otherwise boring outfit.
Size 6 in case you were wondering that as well. (Small feet must be a dominant gene because my poor little girl has some VERY cute shoes (thanks in part to Aunt Beth's stint working for a friend at a shoe store) that have yet to be worn.)
If you are also wondering if "Like Mother, Like Daughter" extends beyond Easter shoes (boy, you sure are a curious bunch today!) here is an overview:
Finley may resemble me, but she definitely has Devin's temperament (thank goodness!).
She has my nose, but Devin's chin.
She has my feet, but Devin's hands.
She has my narrow shoulders, but Devin's ears.
She has my long neck and long torso, but Devin's... long neck and long torso.
(When you come from two giraffes, you're bound to be one as well... and though it may not seem like Finley has that long of a neck now, the fact that she is a baby and has a neck at all pretty much indicates that she will in fact be a giraffe too. Hmm... what animal is known for a long torso?)
I'm trying to put together a post comparing our (mine and Devin's) baby pictures and Finley's so stay tuned, after all, inquiring minds do want to know. =)
