More Finley First's

Last night, Finley went from laying on her stomach to completely sitting up.  She has been working on this since I posted about it HERE, but last night, she finally got her legs in front of her and everything!

She also took her very first big girl bath last night.  We washed her in her blue baby tub just to get her all soapy and then took her out and set her in the water to rinse off.  She loved it!  Devin and I joked that bathtime is about to become very time-consuming again!  When she was a newborn, it took FOREVER to bathe her and we would always laugh that it could take two of us so long to clean such a tiny little girl.  Then as she got bigger and we were able to bathe her in the baby bath tub, we were able to get her in and out in 5 minutes, but now we're back to long baths again.  As you can see she LOVES her rubber ducky.

I guess these aren't firsts, but just "new's"...  she has started chewing or something of the sort.  I'll look over and it looks as if she is gumming away at something.  I always panic thinking she may have found something small to put in her mouth, but after inspection, I never find anything.  She's just chewing the inside of her mouth.

She has also become a big ham!  Yesterday I was trying to put her down for a nap and she turned her head and rested her mouth on my arm.  After a few minutes, she blew and it made a funny noise that made me laugh.  She immediately turned and looked at me, breaking out into a huge Finley smile.  She then turned away and mouthed my arm again only this time she didn't blow so no sound was made, but she immediately looked back at me again with a huge grin obviously expecting me to laugh again.  It was the cutest thing and it melted my heart.  It is really fun to begin to understand what she is thinking inside her little head!

She is absolutely precious. What a pretty little girl! You asked about my iron-on transfers...I have not had any trouble with them, but I will say my daughter has only worn her shirt a few times so far, so it's possible that with time, it will crack and peel. I know that a few people have recommended only the Avery iron-on transfers. Did you maybe use another brand? That's the only thing I can think of! Good luck!
