I decided I would try it in front of the window on the landing of our stairs first. There is a little ledge and I thought it would fit perfectly there. After I put it up, I asked Devin what he thought because it was a little more hidden than I would like, but he said that he really liked that it was in a spot that we would see each morning and each night. Even though it isn't where everyone would see it, it's definitely where we would see it! So I left it there.
We put it up on Saturday afternoon and I would stop with Finley to say "hi" to Baby Jesus when we would pass by it.
Well, Tuesday morning, I was in a rush to get us both fed and dressed and out the door by 8:30 a.m. in time for Bible Study and Mother's Day Out so I was flying down the stairs at 8:15 and I see Finley start waving.
I swear tears came to my eyes. I know that she doesn't fully know who Baby Jesus is, but it was just precious to me that she had learned in 2 days that He is someone we stop to talk to. I, of course, abandoned my frenzy and we spent some time talking to Him and blowing kisses to Him.

I am so glad you like the Nativity. I forgot to tell you that when I had Finley at the church the other day we were running around and we passed by the nativity out in the gardens. I pointed out baby Jesus and she looked at me like "Why is that baby laying on the ground? Please don't leave me outside." It was so funny....I laughed out loud. She is precious.
