Show Me the Bunny!
Finley and I have had a great week preparing for the resurrection of our Lord and Savior! I will be posting all about our week soon, but today, we paid a little visit to the Easter Bunny.
I was way too cheap last year to take her especially since she still seemed so little to me. I just couldn't justify the cost of a $20 picture with the Easter Bunny when I knew that she couldn't care less and that it wasn't really what the season was about. But this year, Mary told me that one of the smaller malls in our area had pictures with the Easter Bunny for $5 so I decided we'd give it a try.
I love this picture for sooooo many reasons! First, I love that it was only $5! Second, I love that there was NO line and that the photographer took at least 20 pictures and let me choose. Third, I love the old school background and bunny costume. Fourth, I love that in every stinking picture, Finley looked like this... with her arms reaching out to me. (This is exactly why I couldn't justify spending $20! This is a cute picture, but no way would I have wanted it for $20!!!! Think of all the hairbows I could've bought! ;-) She wasn't really scared. She loved the Bunny and blew him kisses, but she just wasn't crazy about being with him and not with me. So this picture just completely sums up our experience and I love it!!!!! As a mom, I'm letting go of some of my perfectionism and learning to love each moment with my sweet girl!

I love the "antique" look of the picture! It reminds me of when I was little. There's something to be said for the old-school way! Glad you went! :)LaLa!
