Goodbye VBC MDO

Today was such a sad day.  It was Finley's last day at MDO and I have grown to love her teachers and the other kids in her class.  I know this is just one of many goodbyes that we'll be making as we continue the road of parenthood, but I'm hoping that the first ones are the toughest or I may just not make it to Finley's kindergarten graduation! =)  I'm seriously going to need some Prozac when Finley goes off to college.  I absolutely hate goodbyes!

Here is a comparison of Finley on her first day of MDO in August versus her almost last day of MDO in May... I of course couldn't send her to school in an outfit much too small, but I wanted to have a comparison of her in the same outfit to get the full effect.  I really didn't expect to be able to get the shorts on her yesterday, but they fit surprisingly well....  Of course, they were huge on her in the Fall.

And here's a picture of her today on her last official day of "school":

She's growing up so quickly.  It never ceases to amaze me and always catches me off guard to see how much she has changed.  This year has been a blessing and we will never forget her year with Mrs. Sheila and Miss Tiffany.  This is the year that Finley learned to stand, talk, walk, eat "real" food, play with "real" toys, socialize with adults and kids outside of our family, and take naps away from home.  This was a year of so many "firsts" and we are so thankful that Finley was in the hands of such caring teachers.  We have nothing, but wonderful memories and couldn't have asked for a better experience!
