All About Jude: 3 Months Old

Dear Jude,
You are THREE whole months old!  The past three months have been so fun!  Just this last month, I have really started to feel like I know YOU!  I know your cries.  I know your coos.  I know your smiles.  I know your routine.  I just know YOU and I love it!!!!  You continue to be such an easy, sweet baby and I couldn't be more blessed!

This is what you've been up to this month:

• You weigh 11 pounds and are around 24 inches long.  
• You are in size 1 diapers and are all over the place in clothes.  Your 0-3 pants/shorts are still too big, but your have outgrown almost all of your 0-3 one piece outfits.  I mostly buy you 3-6 stuff even though some of it is a bit big, your long torso needs it!
• You are beginning to go 3.5 hours between feeds.  
• You eat 7 times a day for around 13 minutes each time.
• You almost always sleep at least 7 hours, but a lot of times it is 8 and sometimes it is even 9 at night.
• You are a good napper and still take 4-5 naps a day.
• You LOVE your hands!  You study them from every angle and then happily put them in your mouth.  You can clasp them together now very easily.
• You are blowing bubbles which is apparently an advanced skill.
• You also LOVE standing up when I hold your little hands.  You lock your knees and get so happy.  You could stand forever.  This too is an advanced skill.
• Your neck is definitely getting stronger, but I think we need a little more tummy time as I don't think it is as strong as maybe it should be.
• You took your first road trip this month... to Eureka Springs with Mommy and Aunt Beth.  You were an angel and rarely fussed though we do have a pretty funny story of one of the times that you were incredibly hungry and I couldn't get you fed fast enough.
• When we got back from our trip, you just smiled and cooed at Finley!  You obviously missed her!
• You still love your bouncy chair and sleep in a lot because of your congestion.
• You love your play gym.  I just pulled it out and wish I would have pulled it out sooner because you smile and smile when you make the star play music.
• You still sleep swaddled, but you can also fall asleep without it.
• You also still like your pacifier though you have never really needed it at night.  You like it mostly during the day especially when you are in your carseat.
• Your eyes are still blue.  They are getting lighter and we are very curious to see if they stay blue or turn green.
• You still aren't picky about diaper changes.  You don't care at all about being wet or dirty.  AND you've been having more dirty diapers recently. =)
• Your hair has changed.... it's fuzzy and lighter.  You've lost a lot of hair on the back of your head and have never really had a lot on top.  I'm so curious to see how it grows in.
• Your eyelashes are more noticeable... especially your top ones.  They remind me of Finley's.
• You laughed for the first time this month and have the cooing down.  I just LOVE all of your noises!  You really are a happy little guy.
• Your red freckle on your left shoulder is fading.  It makes me sad.
• You have started batting at toys.
• You have a really strong grip!  You like to grab my hair and hold on tight! 
• If you are anywhere near as amazing as you have been these last 3 months, I absolutely can't wait to see what the next month holds!!!!!!

I have a feeling this isn't going to be the ONLY month that you do "this" with the calendar! =)
