I love how relevant Scripture is. How God's Word is always applicable. Always alive. Today I read the following verse and though I'm sure I've read it several times before, it took on new meaning to me as I read it today.
"Surely, just as I have intended, so it has happened and just as I have planned so it will stand.” Isaiah 14:24
His timing is always perfect. His plan never occurs too soon. Never comes too late. It is always just as He desires. He doesn't work according to selfish timetables.
I want to be all about Him. To fully realize that life is so much bigger than I am. To completely comprehend that He planned every aspect of my life. To rest entirely in His perfection. To kneel in His splendid grace. To be still in the light of His glory. To praise Him in the midst of suffering. To glorify Him in times of happiness. To trust Him without hesitation. To give Him my complete devotion. To love Him with my life.
As He intends, so it will happen. How reassuring it is to know that God never makes mistakes.
