Summer Bucket List 2012

Well, with MDO over, it is officially summer around here.  I'm already enjoying just being home with the kiddos and not rushing out the door 3-4 mornings a week.  Even though I'm sure we will all be completely stir-crazy before too long, I am thankful that we have a pretty open schedule this summer and that we will be able to just spend time together!  Is it wrong that I'm kind of looking forward to us all getting on each other's nerves? :)

Last summer, I had 50 items on our Summer Bucket List.  Even though we got to the majority of them, I definitely felt that at times we were tied to a to-do list so I decided to cut the list in half this year in the hopes that it would just be fun and a reason to do new things.  I also took off items that I knew we'd do--- swimming, library trips, playdates, etc.  Most of the items involve staying at home because that truly is the plan!

1. Make popsicles.
2. Color Cardboard Playhouse.
3. Take a GLOW bath.
4. Eat lunch with Daddy.
5. Go fishing.
6. David and Goliath activity.
7. Make bath crayons.
8. Make our own rice box.
9. Put together a summer fun box and donate it to a kid in need.
10. Make potato stamp art.
11. Play the Parking Lot Game.
12. Practice writing our names.
13. Create an AtoZ Scripture Book.
14. Make a garden step stone.
15. Make icecream in a bag.
16. Paint Bag Writing.
17. Take an art class.
18. Make a Toilet Paper Roll Bird Feeder.
19. Make Rainbow Volcanoes.
20. Take silly pictures together.
21. Memorize a Bible Verse.
22. Get icecream from an icecream truck.
23. Make paint popsicles.
24. Go to the Farmer's Market.
25. Practice spelling and shapes with Velcro Craft Sticks.

Looking forward to a GREAT summer!
