Pictures from Fourth of July

Just a few quick pictures from our Fourth!  Since Devin and I are usually on vacation during the Fourth, it was interesting being in town!  

We started the morning by going to watch the parade.  Finley wasn't that into it.  It took awhile between each "float" and that wasn't working well with her patience.  She got cranky and we left.

 I didn't see any reason why we should hang out in the heat and force her to enjoy something that she wasn't enjoying since we really were only there because we thought it would be fun for her.  Jude enjoyed what he could see of the parade! =)

Once home, we ate and put the kids down for an early nap so that we could head to Amy and Dillon's for some pool fun and fireworks that afternoon.

Finley loves their diving board and made sure Uncle Dillon and Daddy took her off of it several times.

Jude also warmed up to the water which was good.  He so loves bathtime that we haven't quite figured out why he isn't as big of a fan of the pool, but that's okay.  Thanks to my waterproof sling, Evi was able to enjoy the water as well!

Between the water and the yummy food, we left a little after seven and our crew was POOPED!   Finley and her cousins did thoroughly enjoy some poppers before we left...

I am guessing Jude will be a huge part of the action next year as well!
