In other news, Finley was all about the rice cereal last night! We figured out the secret.... I know you're dying to know... and you'll probably think we are quite slow to not have figured it out before, but here goes... We gave it to her 30 minutes before her bottle when she was beginning to get hungry, but wasn't starving. We had tried it once right at "dinner" time and she was far too hungry to even THINK about cereal. All of our other attempts were after the bottle when apparently she was too full to really CARE about cereal. Last night, she literally dove out of the Bumbo towards the spoon. Oh, how I wish I had it on video. It was GREAT! She seriously attacked that spoon. She is still processing the whole "swallowing" act, but for the most part, she is getting it.

Now to the more random aspect of this post.... I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping this blog updated this month... There has just been too much to post. So here's a quick overview on this last day of March.
The first full weekend of the month, my brother and his fiance came to visit. They came over and hung out for awhile and then we went to dinner and to a Thunder game. It was really fun and a great chance to talk about wedding plans, etc. Here's a picture of them with Finley!
The second weekend, Beth and Kenny came to visit. Finley hadn't seen Kenny in awhile so the two of them had a chance to catch up. Aren't these pics cute?
That leads us into the week of March 16th when we moved into Grandma and PaPa Curran's house. Devin and I had been wanting to have our cabinets redone for awhile. We had actually started the process ourselves in July, but realized quickly that this job was more time consuming that we had wanted it to be. We had painted the cabinets at the old house so we knew we could do it, but in the end, decided it wasn't really what we wanted to do. So we hired some professional painters and what was supposed to take a few days, took 2 weeks!!!!! So worth it in the end, but very inconvenient in the meantime. Devin's parents were truly amazing... letting Finley and I stay at their house when they were out of town for the first two days and then allowing us (Devin also was out of town for the first two days) to take over their house while they were there. Grandma Jan even had the diapers, wipes, formula, toys, and the pack-n-play ready to go for us. We were sad to leave even though we were anxious to be back in our own house. AND the cabinets look amazing... here are the before and after pics:

I think I've kept the blog updated on the other events of the month, but can you believe it? It's going to be APRIL tomorrow!
