Finley's FIRST word!!!!

Finley said her first official word today.

She said "Hi".

While traveling all day, we would say "hi" and she started mimicking us every now and then.  I always made a BIG deal about it so she would know that she was "talking".

When we got back into town, we went to pick up our dog from Grandma and PaPa's house and we tried to get her to say "Hi" to Grandma Jan and Great Grandma Lorrie.  Well, while she was playing on the floor, Devin called our dog, Jenny, over to him and when she got there, Finley became really excited and said "Hi!" and then she looked at her and said "Hi" again like she was really wanting Jenny to hear her and wondering why Jenny wasn't saying it back.

That was as official as Devin and I needed since she used it in context so we now have ourselves a talker!  She is so adorable!

I'm going to try to get it on video as soon as I find where I unpacked my point-and-shoot!
