West & Tracey's Wedding Reception

After Beth's shower, we had my brother's wedding reception.  It was sort of a rush to get home after Beth's shower and immediately turn around and head to Tulsa, but we made it... just a little bit late.

The reception was GREAT!  Finley loved the dance floor and we couldn't believe how well she did the whole night.  We really expected to be there for an hour and head back home, but we stayed until most everyone was leaving.

 

Instead of a mother/son dance, Finley and I danced with my brother.  Everyone thought it was so cute, but it was a workout!!!!  I tried holding Finley for awhile, but she became fidgety and heavy since I only had her with one arm so West and I put her on the floor and let her dance in-between us.

 

I am not a big dancer and as far as I know, my brother never has been either, but almost every time I looked up, my brother was dancing!  I loved it.  He did the moonwalk at one point, but I unfortunately didn't get a picture.  Devin did, however, get pictures of me dancing...

Devin and Finley danced together as well and I can just picture her a little bit older wanting to dance with her Daddy!  A guy about our age came up to Devin afterwards and said that Devin and Finley left the dance floor just before he was about to cut-in!  We thought it was hysterical that this guy we didn't even know wanted to dance with our daughter!

And because we had so many people who wanted to "baby-sit" our little one, Devin and I had the chance to dance and just hangout together... So nice!  We really couldn't have asked for a better evening.

The DJ played a lot of 80's music which was an absolute blast!  I actually went to elementary school with him and he's doing Beth's wedding reception as well so hopefully, it'll be just as much fun!  I can't wait!  Since he "knew" me, he made sure I was involved in all the fun!
