It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

It's true... I think football season may really be my favorite holiday.  After several months of not having many sporting options, I am always super excited once football season arrives.  Even if basketball is still my absolute favorite sport and nothing, absolutely nothing, can beat March Madness.  Football season reconnects me with the Sports Animal and ESPN and I have already forgotten how I lived months without them.

We bought Finley this dress at last year's home opener and though it is still a bit big, it was so fun to be able to actually have her here and dress her in it for this year's home opener!

Today was Game Day and we couldn't wait to see if all the hype we had been getting was true.  Dressed in our OSU orange, we wanted to get to Stillwater early.  And since Finley didn't have a ticket we dropped her off at Grandma and PaPa's.  We did practice the Fight Song, Orange Power chant, and Here Comes Bullet several times beforehand just to get Finley in the mood.

The Final Score!
Go Pokes!

It's not every day that we win our season opener against a ranked SEC team.... And it's not every day that Devin and I wind up on the cover of Sports Illustrated for winning the Heisman.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

Haha!!!! You are too funny! I always look forward to football season too because we have that long period of nothing between March Madness and August!!!! However, I am always ready for football to be over. I love having my weekends back and long hours in the sun behind me....basketball, however, is a TOTALLY different situation all together! LOVE IT!!!! I live for it! Its action all the time!!!! And nothing beats March Madness! Football is a good 2nd place though!

Although we are OU fans here, I must admit that Finley looks pretty fabulous in her dress!

You all look so cute in your OSU gear. I think we are going to get Bella a cheerleading uniform for Halloween this year.

I wanted to be @ the game SO bad with Lance. I love coming to cheer the cowboys on, even though I didn't go there Lance has definitely made me become a die hard fan. I'm sure you didn't act like a dork when you met him! I was just really jealous that he met you and I DIDN'T!! WE are hopefully coming back for homecoming so maybe I'll see you there!

GO POKES (todays game was very disappointing though... UGH)
