On the Up & Up

So after Finley's fever spiked to 102 degrees on Monday and she refused to eat lunch, I started getting a bit panicky, but thankfully, she woke up today feeling much better!  She didn't run a fever at all today and is eating better as well.

Obviously since she's been sick, I didn't take her to MDO or attend my Bible Study today.  I've been going a little stir crazy since I've had so many consecutive days at home, but I am VERY thankful that our little Finners is feeling better!

It's funny the things that make me feel like a "real" mom!  When I had to call Finley in sick to MDO and had to let my small group leader know that I wouldn't be at Bible Study because my daughter wasn't feeling well, it felt a little surreal.  For so long, I was never the one who had kids... much less sick ones, but here I am!
