All About Jude: 10 Months

Dear Jude,

You are such a delight at 10 months old!  It's crazy to me how fast this first year is going!  I just want to pause time, but since that's not possible, I just try to enjoy this crazy ride we are on!  There are just not words to describe how much I love you or how thankful I am that you entered our lives!

• You still weigh under 19 pounds.  You are definitely heavier than your sister at this age, but you are looking more adn more like her right now!  I love seeing the resemblance!
• You are in size 3 diaper.
• You can still wear 6-9 month clothes, but you are now mainly in 6-12 month clothes.  I am loving this stage of clothing!  I love that you can wear layers since it is winter and the boy clothes at this stage are so stinking cute!  
• You continued to struggle with last month's ear infection, but finally seemed to have kicked it.  
• You still pull up on everything and will walk with assistance, but still don't have much desire to walk on your own... which is fine with me!
• Your spit up is getting better and better by the month and it is soooo nice!
• Your schedule is still pretty much the same...I usually put you down around 10 a.m. for a morning nap and then try to stretch it to 2 p.m. for your afternoon nap so that you can go down with your sister.  It's working well so far.  You are usually plenty ready for bed at 7:30 p.m.  You don't nap when we are out and about, but still manage to be in a good mood despite it.
• You are still taking 4 bottles a day....  you are eating more solids so we're cutting back on your formula intake.
• You continue to like just about anything we give you... you really like pizza and lasagna.  I give you some baby food, but you are really eating mostly real food.  You amaze me with how much you can eat given how few teeth you have!  I can give you a whole string cheese and somehow you manage to eat it like a big boy despite the fact that you only have two teeth!
• You are really busy these days and like to be into everything!  You love dumping things and playing in the drawers of the coffee table.  You also can sense the dishwasher opening from any room in the house and you will come a-crawling!
• You still love paper and somehow find it wherever you are and will eat it like it is the best food ever.  It cracks me up and grosses me out at the same time!
• You can give "five" now.
• Your eyes are still really dark...  I think they will end up green or hazel as they are losing their blue.
• Your hair is beginning to grow a bit more on top, but you still don't have much there unlike the back of your hair which is getting much thicker.
• You sound like Darth Vader a lot... you make this grumble/grunt sound and it makes me smile.  You are all boy!  It's like boys are just born with the ability to make those kind of sounds!
• You have started looking for your sister in the car.  You really like her to be next to you when we are riding around.
• You are still in love with baths and like to splash around!  You don't mind having water poured over your head and now that you are crawling you try to crawl around in the tub.  You would play in the bath forever if we let you!
• We've tried sippy cups a few times and you are not a fan.
• Diaper changes are impossible right now as you do not want to be still.  You are having lots of dirty diapers right now and I dread changing times because it is so hard to get you changed without pinning you down!
• You understand your name and No... You are not very verbal yet.  You make sounds, but have no real words yet.
• You are beginning to throw things off the side of your chair during meals.  You love to make a big mess.
• You are so much like your sister and so different at the same time.  I just love seeing you each and every day and am so thankful that God creates us each uniquely!  You are my joy, my love, my sweet boy, my pumpkin bottom, my little man, my baby!
